Day 1903

Day 1903;

My BMI was 18.53, steps 30,742, distance 20.25 km and 1463 kcal burned, today according to Wii Fit.

Breakfast: cereal, grapes, strawberries, blueberries and blackberries.
Lunch: sandwich (bacon, lettuce, chicken in brown bread), lemon drizzle cake and after eight mousse.
Dinner: pasta meatballs (quorn), cheese and tiramisu.
Drinks: milk, fruit squash and water.

Today I have been for a walk in the morning, before I had eaten lunch, then after and during lunch I watched some more of Doctor Who. But then also between lunch and dinner I've also been walking on the treadmill, bouncing on the trampoline, cycling on the exercise bike and I even think that I have rowed a bit on the rowing machine.

But then after that I had my dinner, then I went upstairs to my room I then laid down on my bed, the next thing I knew I had brushed my teeth. But we didn’t get any trick or treaters tonight, which is a big disappointment. Myself I must have only actually managed to get out a couple of times for trick or treating, so I cannot really say that in my day I did a lot, as I didn’t, but yesterday I heard a lot of trick or treaters outside of the house but then we had none of them knock knock knockin’ on our door.

Knock knock knockin’ on heavens door, I never quite realised just how much of a Halloween song that was. If you just listen to Bob Dylan’s owws at the start you can just picture it playing in a haunted house at a fair ground.

Day 1902

Day 1902;

I had a BMI of 18.62, steps today I had done 26,808 which was apparently 17.66 km and I managed to burn off 1882 kcal, according to Wii Fit.

Breakfast: cereal, banana, apple and orange.
Lunch: sandwich (cheese in white bread), lemon drizzle cake and after 8 mousse.
Dinner: macaroni cheese, turkey drummers, grapes, strawberries, blueberries, blackberries and chocolate sundae.
Drinks: milk, fruit squash, water, Lucozade sport (Brazilian Guava) and hot chocolate.
Snacks: pomegranate, grapes and apple.

Now then today I have been on a little bit of a cycle ride, on Zwift. Which is a little fitness software thing which connects up with a bike which is connected to a turbo-trainer and I have completed my first 25 km, on a solo bike for many years which could probably only be if I have ever done a 25 km ride before. Which I think that I may have done many years ago.

So when I had finished the twenty five kilometres on the bike, while I was on the bike I noticed my right arm was getting slightly numb from about the twentieth kilometre. But then I just kept on peddling, it took me one hour and seven minutes of time but it still should be a whole day until it is possible for me to get my first free day of Zwift training. Then after I had finished my bike ride I went on the treadmill for a walk, while I was watching some more of Doctor Who, but then I have been watching more of Doctor Who throughout the day and I have just got onto an episode that I hadn’t seen before, it was the one which is called Last Christmas. But Clara was still in the series, I thought that I had seen Arya Stark abduct Clara within a series, of which I had thought was at the end of series one of Capaldi.

Day 1901

Day 1901;

BMI for today was 18.75, steps I had done 19,645 which was 12.94 km in distance and I had burned off 1899 kcal today, according to Wii Fit.

Breakfast: cereal, banana, apple and orange.
Lunch: baked beans with mini sausages on rice cakes and something.
Dinner: chicken, rice, carrots, peas, broccoli, sweetcorn, cauliflower and bread + butter pudding.
Drinks: milk, fruit juice, fruit squash and hot chocolate.

Now today I have been to the place where I have athletics, I have been to laugh down athletics club. Which was for an enjoyable little jog/run around, doing some little obstacles and holding a medicine ball (which included a bit of throwing). Running about was my favourite part, I also enjoyed jogging around the obstacle course until my eyes stopped working as correctly. Which inhibited my ability to run a bit also, as I was having to fight my eyes in order to see where I had to go, which was in a straight line, but found it difficult, Mich and I should have probably brought a tandem with us, as they had a few people on bikes riding around the track, which may have been to keep up with the wheelchairs but it would probably have managed to get Mich or Lucky more involved, they usually just sit/stand somewhere and chat for the amount of time that we’re there.

Then after the previously mentioned activities I have watched some more of Doctor Who, this time with Mr Angry Scotsman (Peter Capaldi). He’s a funny man I think, just as about all of the Doctors prior. But I think that Matt Smith even though he had some funny parts in his little charade as the Doctor but his version of the Doctor was that of a more serious Doctor.

Finally had a walk on the treadmill in the morning before I got onto the exercise bike for a little ride, but on the exercise bike it was only my little trip to nowhere.

Sunday, 28 October 2018

Day 1900

Day 1900;

Today I had a BMI of 18.91, steps of 7712 which only gave me a distance of 5.08 km and 1000 kcal burned,

Breakfast: cereal, banana, apple and orange.
Lunch: chicken, carrots, peas, green beans, potatoes and something.
Dinner: omelette (cheese), chocolate cake and something.
Drinks: milk, fruit juice, fruit squash, water and hot chocolate.
Snacks: something’s.

Today I have been skiing. Lewis Hamilton has won his fifth F1 world title, by finishing 4th in the Mexican Grand Prix.

Now as it went in my skiing I stacked it twice and I cannot remember either of the stacks of it, but I know that I skied into a sign for my first meanwhile the second has completely slipped my mind.

But I have had a lazy day today, as shown by my step count, as I only had a short walk in the afternoon before I was waiting for something, but what? I cannot remember now.

Saturday, 27 October 2018

Day 1899

Day 1899:

BMI of 18.52, I think, my steps were only at about 11,000 for today I had a distance walked of about 7 km and the amount of calories I burned off as it was only just above 700 I think.

Breakfast: cereal, banana, apple and orange.
Lunch: sandwich (cheese in white bread),  mini chocolate roll, Batternburg and something.
Dinner: seafood pasta, Jaffa cakes and cheesecake.
Drinks: milk, fruit squash, water, Lucozade sport (orange) and hot chocolate.
Snacks: Russian chocolate and chocolate.

So today I have been to watch a football match, live, and it was a victory for the team that I went to the game to watch, no support. But before the match I had a couple of boccia games to play with the team that I’m a part of the first of which we lost something like 14 - 0 but our second we won 3- 10. I hate being the captain of a team, I’m a much better general dogsbody, but even at that I’m pretty terrible at playing boccia, it may be my useless arms, or it could be my dogsbody just leaking through the cracks.

But then today I have also watched the final sections of Matt Smith being the Doctor, but that is just about it for now, so maybe I’ll get around to watching the Peter Capaldi series tomorrow.

1. William Hartnell
2. Patrick Troughton
3. Jon Pertwee
4. Tom Baker
5. Peter Davison
6. Colin Baker
7. Sylvester McCoy
8. Paul McGann
War Doctor John Hurt
9. Christopher Eccleston
10. David Tennant
David’s vanity issues
11. Matt Smith
12. Peter Capaldi
13. Jodie Whittaker

So that is 15 regenerations.

Friday, 26 October 2018

Day 1898

Day 1898;

BMI for today was 18.43, my step count was 24,680 and my distance walked was 16.25 km but my calories burned were down to 1345 kcal.

Breakfast: cereal, strawberries, banana, orange and apple.
Lunch:  margarita pizza and doughnut.
Dinner: ham, carrots, broccoli, green beans, potatoes, strawberries and cheesecake.
Drinks: milk, fruit squash, water and hot chocolate.
Snack: doughnut.

Now today I have been watching some Doctor Who, the eleventh Doctor still. I’m back in the past on my Doctor Who watching, now I haven’t even seen the final 2 series of the 12th Doctor (Peter Capaldi) stint in the blue police box, I’m thinking that I’d only got to the part where Clara leaves the Doctor whipping his mind of her, I think it’s a bit sketchy in my mind. But the 12th Doctor should be the 13th Doctor shouldn’t he? As if there was also John Hurt’s incarnation, the War Doctor, who should have been the ninth Doctor, then it goes with Mr Tennant, 10ant, as eleventh. Then Matt Smith as twelfth, before Peter and Jodie as the thirteenth and fourteenth respectively. But then again I don’t think that Jodie will get off from being the Doctor anytime soon, as the show has seen record numbers of people watching the show which will be as for the first time, in an official capacity (discounting Joanna Lumley, as she had a “cameo”role as the Doctor in the past on Comic Relief/Children in Need back in the days before the Reboot), which may mean that a load of feminists watched the show for the first time just for their own bigoted reasons as well as the faithful Whovians, of whom I wouldn’t be, the time has just slipped away from me. But I remember the days of the Doctor rushing home to watch the show with Rose, Jack, Martha, Donna, Amy, Rory, Clara and for a bit we had Micky along with Rose. Their were other passengers in the Tardis along the way but I have just listed out the ones that stuck in my mind.

As I was watching Doctor Who while I was walking, on the treadmill, while I was on the treadmill I watched about an episode and a third before I continued watching it to the competition of a second episode by having a bounce which was before I got onto the new exercise bike and I watched a complete episode while I was exercising.

Now a song has been irritating me today, it’s the song that goes “the grass is always greener on the other side” I could go on about how this is a fabrication and has no basis in reality, but I’m not going to as I get the point that it’s going at, but it is his point about a circle only having 1 side, as that is false just look at a circle it’s got it has got it’s front side which you can see then it has also got it’s reverse side, which you cannot see but it is still there and then you’ve got it’s edge, which it only has one of, so it could have been meaning the circle only has one edge... side, but that doesn’t fit into the song.

Day 1897

Day 1897;

BMI of today was 18.56, steps were 19,830 which was a distance of 13.06 km and I have burned off 2030 kcal, according to Wii Fit.

Breakfast: cereal, banana, apple, orange and strawberries.
Lunch: I’ve forgotten.
Dinner: chicken pie, carrots, green beans, broccoli, potatoes, cheesecake and strawberries.
Drinks: milk, fruit squash, water and hot chocolate.

Today I have got up had my breakfast and blaa blaa bla I’ve done the rest of the usual morning shenanigans, then I have gone on a treadmill walk, before we went out to purchase a bicycle, as a gift for Mich’s Anniversary (which is coming up shortly). But as every person of 50+ knows they may not make it to another, so that’s probably why he didn’t bother waiting to get to his actual Anniversary day and he got it early.

So anyway I had a 30 minute stint on his new bike then I had a whole hour on the treadmill before I took some time on the rowing machine and the trampoline. Within the makeshift gym which is looking positively more like an actual gym now.

Wednesday, 24 October 2018

Day 1896

Day 1896;

My BMI was back up at 18.84, I had walked 17,045 steps which was 11.23 km and I burned off 937 kcal, today according to Wii Fit.

Breakfast: cereal, pomegranate, apple and grapes.
Lunch: scrambled eggs with salmon on bread (white bread), grapes, strawberries, blueberries, blackberries and something.
Dinner: meatballs (quorn), pasta, strawberries and bream thing.
Drinks: milk, fruit squash, water and hot chocolate.

Today I went to the gym, but I’m thinking that’s about it, that I had done today, apart from a little treadmill walk which I spent a couple of hours doing, I think that it was an actual 2 hours, before I stopped.

Tuesday, 23 October 2018

Day 1895

Day 1895;

BMI was 18.62, I had walked 18,403 steps which gave me 12.12 km in distance but I had burned off 946 kcal, according to Wii Fit.

Breakfast: cereal, grapes, strawberries, blueberries and blackberries.
Lunch: sandwich (ham in white bread), sausage roll, banana, strawberries, apple and grapes.
Dinner: macaroni cheese, breaded turkey and chocolate sundae.
Drinks: milk, fruit squash, water, hot chocolate and fruit juice.
Snacks: popadums and chili cheese.

Saving the NHS, how could it be done? Well it could be done by killing off all of the disabled (which includes me), obese (which includes approximately half of the nurses) and all of the hypochondriacs (time wasters of the NHS). Ok so the disabled like me any objections to having all of our lives erased from the surface of this planet... well I can only think of a couple which are no more Paralympics or other competitions for the disabled (but then that’s all modern and people got by before), but then their would be no Steven Hawkins I know their is no more of him anyway as he’s dead but that’d mean that their couldn’t be another one, but I know it’s a small price for pay for the well-being of a nation. Obese yet another good suggestion I’m thinking obesity is an insidious form of suicide, as that is what obesity is a form of suicide but not one that kills you straight away kind of like hanging yourself from a noose but it’s an extra slow noose (by that I’m meaning your better off dying a quick death by the noose snapping your neck instead of by dying by asphyxiation potentially hours later, but it’s a lot slower and theirs no noose), which have been encouraged by these new social justice warriors and stuff like the fast food industry with new quicker ways of filling your stomach and getting fatter as fat is the new thin these days, as it has become more socially acceptable for parents to go out to work all day then on their way home picking up some fast or processed food for them all to eat for dinner and then some sweets to keep them sweet. Which brings me on to my final point, of this plan as of how to save the NHS if you got rid of all of the hypochondriacs that would relieve the false pressure on the NHS as it would stop people saying that they are ill when they are not. It could stop people taking unnecessary sick days from work also, as if your employer gets to the point where you’re more off than on and a Doctor could be called to see you then they notice nothing wrong with you that’s your first strike on the hypochondriac register.

Now that was my plan to save the NHS, but it also saves the nation from becoming US.02 if it hasn’t already become that way. Today I have been to the gym as with yesterday, but then I went a bit more of the treadmill, for another walk by the means of the treadmill. I also watched some more of the Who, Doctor Who I cannot remember if the episode of whether I watched the Angels of Manhattan while I was on the treadmill or whether it was later on today, but I did remember.

So today I have been to the gym and on the treadmill, just as with yesterday.

Monday, 22 October 2018

Day 1894

Day 1894:

Wow my BMI was down on yesterday’s, at 18.53, which I know probably shouldn’t come as a shock seeing as I had done 20,641 steps apparently walking 13.59 km but I had only burned off 940 kcal, at least according to Wii Fit.

Breakfast: cereal, banana, apple and orange.
Lunch: sandwich (chicken and p bacon), mini popadums (with cheese and chilli), tiramisu and pineapple.
Dinner: Chinese takeaway feast and tiramisu.
Drinks: milk, fruit squash, water and hot chocolate.
Snacks: pomegranate, grapes and apple.

The reason for my shock of the loss of my BMI was because I had just had my Chinese feast just before I did my Wii Fit body test. Earlier on today/before the meal I had a shower, as I was stinky (I guess that’s what a little greater than two hour walk and a gym session does to me). But before the shower I had done 20,361 steps on my Wii Fit step counter and I had only done 20,011 steps on my watch, I probably had done the extra steps some of which didn’t register on my watch on the exercise bike at the gym, this morning.

As I had woken up I had my breakfast, which took hours in itself. Then I finally managed to get out to the gym,, which I did my usual session, for nowadays which consists of half an hour on the lateral trainer followed by half an hour on the exercise bike. Which had my watches step count up to a number just over 4000. Then I ate my lunch which was interesting to say the least, as I had some sweet chilli sauce on cheese to dip my mini popadums in, which tasted good.

Then after lunch I went for a slight wander on the treadmill while watching some more of Doctor Who. I watched basically the rest of the 6th series, up to the Doctor, the Widow and the Wardrobe, so I’ve got that to look forward to seeing on another one of my wanders tomorrow.

But I have been thinking about how and why a lot of modern day nurses are fat, I know it’s kind of counter intuitive to think of a fat nurse as. As nurses spend the majority of the days/nights on their feet rushing around seeing to patients, but then Mich suggested that I  may donate the box of Quality Street, that I “won” in a raffle that I didn’t even know that I had entered, to Allergy’s work as I probably won’t get around to eating them before they have gone out of date. But then Allergy noted that if she did that then she probably wouldn’t get any of the quality street as they’d be all gone just about as soon as they’d have hit the side in the nurses station, as that is what your standard nurse has gone to nowadays a blubbering land whale that is quick to snatch up sweets and devour them.

Sunday, 21 October 2018

Day 1893

Day 1893;

BMI for today was 18.75, my steps were down to 11,297 which was 7.44 km and I had burned off 903 kcal.

Breakfast: cereal, strawberries, raspberries, watermelon, banana, grapes and apple.
Lunch: omelette (cheese) and something.
Dinner: something, carrots, green beans, peas, potatoes, profiteroles and chocolate trifle.
Drinks: milk, fruit squash and hot chocolate.
Snacks: 2 maltesers.

Today was another lazy day apart from my gym session in the morning and the walk that I went on in the afternoon, but other than the two things that I did today I have been being lazy. As if the gym session was when I did what I was supposed to do yesterday but the full workout routine today, probably as Tini’s phone didn’t run out of battery charge during the session. Then after Mich and I went on walk, the first was a stroll around to see the GM, the second was to visit the GAK the third was our return trip, and it was only then that my watch started bleeping to tell me that I had reached my steps goal for today.

It was so lazy today that I have forgotten about it.

Saturday, 20 October 2018

Day 1892

Day 1892;

Today according to Wii Fit my BMI was 18.84 I had 13,801 steps  which were 9.09 km and then I had only burned off 848 kcal.

Breakfast: cereal, strawberries, raspberries and watermelon.
Lunch: omelette (cheese, mushroom and ham), strawberries, raspberries, watermelon, banana, orange, grapes and profiteroles.
Dinner: balsamic oil, bread, mushroom pasta, spinach, tomatoes and Christmas pudding.
Drinks: milk, fruit squash and hot chocolate.

On this day I have been especially lazy, as I have had to play some Boccia/the usual Saturday routine. Back in the old days of my youth I had roller hockey practice on Saturday mornings it started off as a one hour little thing which I would go to just for my age group but it eventually turned into a three hour long weekend day outside of the house of which was fun. Even when it was only me skating around the hall attempting to go as quickly as I could I would have fun doing just that until the rest of the team got out. Good times, good long died times. Then I swapped teams, so it was Friday evenings then I carelessly died and then what you’v been left with is this thing, I’ve got some of memories, well I’ve got all the memories that I can remember, which in all honesty isn’t much.

But then again I also played a bit more of Super Mario; Odyssey, I think that I have completed the first World as I have just defeated Bowser and he’s got stroppy and chucked me down into a place, of which I’ll probably have to do to get up to Bowser again for him to get stroppy again, and repeat the routine, but the cats that I was going on about the other day, I think I was mistaken about there identity and they are rabbits, I think.

So then I have also discovered that my skin is pealing, off of my hands, my flesh is pealing. Which is pretty similar to the Flesh on Doctor Who, which I watched the episodes today.

Friday, 19 October 2018

Day 1891

Day 1891;

18.46 was my BMI of the day, I got 20,846 steps which gave me 13.73 km in distance walked and I managed to burn off 1846 kcal, according to Wii Fit.

Breakfast: cereal, banana, apple, orange and grapes.
Lunch: sandwich (cheese with white bread), rice cake (plain), banana, cherry bakewell and chocolate mini roll.
Dinner: scampi, chips, peas and lemon meringue pie.
Drinks: milk, fruit squash, water and hot chocolate.

Today I had managed to make my way up to a number greater than 15000 steps by lunchtime so my total for today was disappointing to say the least. But I have been to the gym and I have done two exercises at the gym. As an actual fact as opposed to a false fact or fake news (should I add a TM symbol next or should I copyright it to Donny Trump?).

In Doctor Who today I think that I missed the episodes as my device for watching ran out of battery charge while I was on the treadmill, it was the episode where they are pirates. But the device hasn’t really been able to get it’s charge back, at least not fully. Also today I have been playing on Mario Odyssey, I added a new costume for the Mario by using an Amiibo.

Then after I used the Amiibo I was taken to the gym, for a workout, nothing too strenuous, I even had to cut the session short as Tini got bored, due to her phone running out of battery charge. So things running out of charge has been pretty much the main theme of the day.

Thursday, 18 October 2018

Day 1890

Day 1890;

BMI was 18.62, steps were 11,672 which gave me a distance of 7.69 km and I had burned off 1095 kcal, according to Wii Fit.

Breakfast: cereal, banana, apple and orange.
Lunch: sandwich (cheese in white bread), cherry bakewell and a chocolate mini roll.
Dinner: pie (chicken), carrots, broccoli, green beans, cauliflower, potato and lemon meringue pie.
Drinks: milk, fruit squash, water and hot chocolate.

So today I have been lazy for the morning, I was waiting for a delivery, which was delivered then I forgot about until after I had done a small walk on the treadmill and Allergy returned back and was moving it to to the room which I call the makeshift gym. Then after that I had lunch.

From lunch I went back into the makeshift gym to complete my exercise, well the mornings exercise at least. When I’d completed the exercise for the morning (in the afternoon) I just had a lazy afternoon, which included a bit more of playing through Super Mario Odyssey, I managed to beat up one of the fat cats today, could this be a blatant dig at the whole structure of gaming? I mean with the parts of the game story and you have to beat up the fat cat family, and what is a name given to big businesses bosses? It’s fat cats isn’t it.

Wednesday, 17 October 2018

Day 1889

Day 1889;

18.53 was my BMI, 17,490 steps or 11.52 km I burned 1738 kcal, according to Wii Fit,

Breakfast: cereal, strawberries, blueberries, blackberries and grapes.
Lunch: sandwich (ham, lettuce, chicken in brown bread), cherry bakewell, chocolate mini roll, strawberries, blueberries, blackberries and grapes.
Dinner: seafood pasta, tomatoes, lettuce, lemon meringue pie and strawberries.
Drinks: milk, fruit squash and hot chocolate.
Snack: 1 pot of pineapple.

So today I have got up, got down, had my breakfast then I went for a walk on the treadmill, before going back up so that I could brush my teeth. But then somewhere in the previously disclosed events I also remembered to (and I actually did) put the green garden waste bin out for collection, I know it’s a rubbish job, but someone has got to do it and that’s where I come in.

But then I have also been playing on my Switch as was I yesterday but yesterday I think that I forgot to write anything about it, but on both days I have been playing some Super Mario Odyssey, the name reminds me of a game that I had on Demo for the old PlayStation, it was called Oddworld Abe’s Oddysee, I was useless at it but I had a good time while playing it, it maybe where my attitude of if at first you don’t succeed just keep on trying and when you get no where on it you should have tried harder, as I find that at almost everything I do I should try harder at. Even thinking I should try harder at to get to the desired result that everyone else is seeming to want me to get to.

Tuesday, 16 October 2018

Day 1888

Day 1888;

BMI for today was 18.27, when my steps went up to 21,907 which gave me a distance of 14.48 but the number of kcal that I burned off was down to 1701.

Breakfast: cereal, strawberries, banana, orange and apple.
Lunch: sandwich (cheese in white bread), cherry bakewell and chocolate mini roll.
Dinner: sausages, Yorkshire pudding, peas, carrots, mashed potato and chocolate sundae.
Drinks: milk, fruit squash, water and hot chocolate.
Snack: 1 pot of pineapple.

Now the plan for my life is to get myself fit enough for a sport, then it is to get myself into Team GB, for competition, at said sport before finally getting selected for an Olympic Games. Which if that happens then I’ll permit myself to discover what the “emotion” of love is all about as I’ll be worth something, as I’d have achieved something with my life, it may not be much but at least it’ll be something for the potential girlfriend/wife/offspring to say about me; who is a waste of the air that I breathe, for the most part at least.

Today I have been watching some more of Doctor Who, while I have been walking on the treadmill. Today I have watched up to the end of the first series with Matt Smith, as if the day started with Rory Williams getting erased from existence and it ended with now the newly wedded Rory Pond Alongside Amy Pond and The Doctor, setting off out to see the universe. But I haven’t watched all of the episodes on the treadmill, it was just about from half way through of the episode which had the funny coloured grass and the graves eating people, I think, or was it the vampires of Venice? Well I think it was up to at least Van Gogh’s episode, but then that was a bit more later on in today’s day when I was watching , but no I remember now that it was the lodger that I watched while I was walking this evening.

Monday, 15 October 2018

Day 1887

Day 1887;

18.75 was my BMI for this day, 20,207 steps/13.31 km and I had burned off 1964 kcal, according to Wii Fit.

Breakfast: cereal, banana, apple, grapes and orange.
Lunch: tinned baked beans with mini sausages, rice cakes (plain), chocolate cake and fruit cake.
Dinner: meatballs (quorn), pasta and cheesecake.
Drinks: milk and fruit squash.
Snacks: tunocks wafer, fruit cake and strawberries.

Now today my watch through of Doctor Who was interrupted, by the little thing; my device for watching the show ran out of battery charge, while I was on the treadmill first thing. First thing today? Well it was the first thing I did today which wasn’t sleeping walking around my home or eating breakfast. Then I may have brushed my teeth before the walk but I couldn’t remember so I made an executive decision to brush them after I had finished my walk/before I did my row and bounce, which I then went back to and did.

Then I went to lunch, after lunch I had athletics. But that was later on today so in the meantime I watched the next episode of the Musketeers, while sitting in my room with the device that I was watching it on plugged in, charging itself, well it wasn’t really charging itself it was plugged into the mains electricity, where I had put it. But that being as it was I had plugged it into a plug socket in the wall.

So that was that until I went to athletics in the evening, Mich went with me, to take me to the place then he scarpered off to purchase himself a turbo-trainer. But he still hasn’t got a bike to ride on his new gizmo yet, at least that’s his excuse, him not to just get on with it. But anyway Tini was miffed by his getting his gift, at least I think that is a word which best describes her reaction, well it was that and anger as Mich had apparently told her that we’d be back at quarter past for dinner, which I was. But by the time that Mich finally sat down it was 5 minutes late, so Tini went a bit mad.

 But also when we got into the car Mich put the cars radio on and we listened to BBC Radio 5 live, as it was England’s match in the UEFA Nations League. The game was Spain vs England, now I was expecting a result similar to the Scotland game the other day, the one where the team from the continent of Europe beat the British team something like 3-1 or 1-3, but then the game kicked off and from the off the Spaniards were attacking Jordan Pickford’s goal. The onslaught was incredible, but then from what seemed to come from thin air there was a goal for the English... then we missed the second goal as I’m thinking that we must have arrived back home but then by the time that we’d got into home and Mich’d turned the radio on, the score was 0-2 but it wasn’t too long until another England scored again. Unbelievably the score was 0-3 by half time. England were just 45 minutes away from making more footballing history, it’s own history. The full time result of the game was 2-3 so the Spanish team managed a bit of a fight back but it was too little too late.

Sunday, 14 October 2018

Day 1886

Day 1886;

My BMI was 18.75, steps were 17,106 which gave me the distance of 11.27 km and I had burned off 1438 kcal, according to Wii Fit.

Breakfast: cereal,orange, banana, grapes and apple.
Lunch: omelette (cheese) and cake.
Dinner: I’ve forgotten but I think I had some cheesecake with it.
Drinks: milk, fruit squash and hot chocolate.

Now today I was back to a more normal morning, with my Treadmill Walk, but then I was just being lazy until we walked to the old folks home, and we saw GAK. Today she seemed to be totally with it, not completely off her rocker, until she started on about how she would like to come with us to the snow centre to watch us ski. Her eyes aren’t good enough to see us while we’re skiing, she’d be better off with it being filmed for her just as it has in the past but she complained about not being able to see it.

Today Allergy has commenting on my face, as apparently I have been making some very expressive faces. I don’t know what ones that she was talking about, as I cannot remember any of the faces; that I was making.

Day 1885

Day 1885;

BMI was 18.56, my steps were only 11,977 the distance that I walked was only 7.89 km and I had burned off 1132 kcal, according to Wii Fit.

Breakfast: cereal and banana.
Lunch: I’ve forgotten.
Dinner: forgot, broccoli, green beans, carrots, cheesecake and sponge cake.
Drinks: milk, water, fruit squash and hot chocolate.

Now today I have had another lazy day as it’s started off with me playing the laziest sport, Boccia. Then after I’ve been lazy today by watching the football team that I support win, 3-1, which was entertaining. But the drive to get to the match isn’t great, I still think that we should tandem it, Mich even said today that the weather was supposed to be good enough for a cycle today but it’s not supposed to be so good tomorrow. Which sucks, but at least the team that we support won, which gave me another idea but it included switching allegiances in the team that we support. As if we switched to a more local team like the team of the clever foliage then we could just tandem around to the ground and it’s so close to our home that Mich probably wouldn’t even get sweaty.

But then I hadn’t managed to see anymore of Doctor Who until later on today when I went for another little treadmill walk it was the episode that started off Matt Smith’s time as the Doctor where he’s still cooking, late and he’s got 20 minutes to save the human residence (World).

Day 1884

Day 1884;

18.50 was my BMI today, I had walked 20,322 steps, apparently it was 13.38 km that I walked today and then 1449 kcal, I burned off according to Wii Fit.

Breakfast: cereal, grapes (purple and green), apple, orange and banana.
Lunch: baked beans with mini sausages, bread, lemon drizzle cake and chocolate cake.
Dinner: I’ve forgotten, chocolate cake and chocolate trifle.
Drinks: milk, water and fruit squash.
  So it was the day that I have watched the complete mini Doctor Who series, the 5 episodes, so now that’s over it’s time to see Matt Smith as the Doctor (but I will wait until tomorrow).

Now I started off watching the marathon on the treadmill, as usual. But then similarly to usual I had finished my hour and a half of walking before the episodes that I had desired to watch today had finished, so I continued watching episodes after I had finished on the treadmill. Also on the day Mich also spent an hour on the treadmill, so I had bounced around for the hour, on Allergy’s trampoline.

That was about it for my day.

Day 1883

Day 1883;

My BMI was 18.43, I had taken 17,824 steps which was apparently 11.74 km and I managed to burn off 1577 kcal, today apparently.

Breakfast: cereal, banana, orange and apple.
Lunch: toasted sandwich (cheese), rice cake (chocolate coated), banana, fruit cake and lemon drizzle cake.
Dinner: turkey, broccoli, carrots, green beans, potatoes, lemon drizzle cake, chocolate cake and chocolate trifle.
Drinks: milk, fruit squash, water and hot chocolate.

Now today I have been on another one of my little treadmill wanders for the morning, while watching more of the Doctor Who marathon that I have set up for myself, of which today I have completed the third series of the tenth Doctor. His final series, the series before he goes slightly insane with his traveling on his own. Which in turn was before the masters rebirth, again, but this time it was before he comes back as a woman and it was the time of drums that is the timelords calling out of the void. But the master is a madman this time (or at the very least he’s madder). After the waters of Mars, the planet of the dead and the next doctor. So it’s after the 5 episode mini series of Doctor Who that he dies leaving it up to Matt Smith.

Then in the afternoon I went to the gym with Allergy this time, instead of Tini. But Tini appears to have fallen out with me, I first noticed when she got in from school as she was very disapproving of me by saying that I wasn’t ready to go to the gym as I still had to shave and my shorts were inside out, but then it wasn’t just her complaints with me, there was something about her personality today that was exceptionally disagreeable, I cannot think of the words to describe it sufficiently. Then it was again that she overreacted to my question that I didn’t even ask her so I decided that 2 can play at her game of overreacting so I decided to slam my door, and then she turned to Mich and said that I had been stomping about to my room before, also? Had I... you’ve got a colourful imagination, I was thinking.

Day 1882

Day 1882;

18.40 was my BMI of the day, steps I had17,281 within making said number of steps I have apparently walked 11.38 km and I had burned off 1509 kcal, according to Wii Fit.

Breakfast: cereal, strawberries, apple and orange.
Lunch: tinned baked beans with mini sausages on bread, fruit cake and lemon drizzle cake.
Dinner: pasta meatballs (quorn), cheese and tiramisu.
Drinks: milk and fruit squash.
Snacks: Jaffa cakes.

But today I have done the usual step routine, of stepping on the treadmill while watching some more of Doctor Who. Then after lunch I had a little cycle with Mich, well it was a nice little about 16 mile roundish trail , around a place. We rode the course really well for about the first parts of it until we had got about the first third of the time, then we started flagging a bit, which we did until approximately the penultimate segment where we put our feet to the peddles once more and we broke a personal record on a segment.

So we started off good but then we got weaker as it went on, now that just seems to be like life, as you start off strong, with all your convictions and stuff and then as time goes on you weaken, physically and mentally.

Day 1881

Day 1881;

18.18 was my BMI, I had taken 19,560 steps which was 12.88 km in distance and I had burned off 1503 kcal, according to Wii Fit.

Breakfast: cereal, banana, apple, orange and strawberries.
Lunch: sandwich (cheese with white bread), rice cake (chocolate coated), banana and Jaffa cakes.
Dinner: pie (steak), broccoli, carrots, cauliflower, green beans, lettuce, fruit cake and tiramisu.
Drinks: milk, fruit squash and hot chocolate.

Today I have been on the treadmill, for the completion of my Doctor Who binge watching marathon thing, at least for the whole of the Martha Jones series, tomorrow it’s onto Donna’s series, then it should be onto the final parts of the tenth Doctor, which has him travelling on his own, before the rebirth of the Master.

Now then that was that for the morning, before like yesterday I had an appointment with the gym in the afternoon. Like yesterday I had half an hour on the lateral trainer and half an hour on the exercise bike. But I actually managed to get some speed on the lateral trainer today, from the start so I was slowing down towards the end but I still managed to get it to a speed of 76 average from about 4-9 minutes of the way through to the end of the workout, which was 30 minutes. I was going like the proverbial house on fire. But then by the time of 20 minutes of the way through the workout I was weakening off slightly, so I was thinking that I really had to put some more effort into the exercise and I did, just not as effectively.

Day 1880

Day 1880;

Today I have got back into my usual routine, at least in part, but my BMI was down to 18.31! I had made 17,607 steps which were apparently 11.60 km and I had burned off 1199 kcal, according to Wii Fit.

Breakfast: cereal, banana, apple, orange and melon (water).
Lunch: sandwich (cheese), rice cake and chocolate cake.
Dinner: fish, , carrots, broccoli, peas, sweetcorn and lemon meringue pie.
Drinks: milk, fruit squash and fruit syrup.

Some of Carrefour’s products are going to be sold in Tesco shops, apparently. Now I am hoping that one of the products that they are to sell is going to be some of that fruit syrup, which I hope will be some of that Anis (Anise) flavour, but then I’m unsure of whether it’ll be sold over this side of the puddle.

Now today I have been on the treadmill for a walk, while watching Doctor Who, on iPlayer. Which I am now on the tenth Doctor with Freema Agyeman/Marta Jones, as his companion. So I’m just 2 Doctor’s behind where I have watched up to and as I have only seen up to the first series of Mr Capoldi, so I still have to watch the rest of Mr Tenant’s second and his third with Cathrine Tate/Dona Noble. Then it’s time for Matt Smith with Karen Gillian/Amy Pond, for I think the first 2 series then half his third which is when he she got swapped for Jenna-Louise Coleman/Clara Oswin Oswald. Then Miss Coleman Stayed on for the next Doctor’s (Peter Capaldi) for I think his first series but I have forgotten about the series and then I stopped watching Doctor Who since so I have decided to get myself back up to speed on what’s happening in the Whoverse by watching as I walk.

Day 1879

Day 1879;

My BMI was 18.68, steps were 12,253Which meant that I had traveled 8.07 km and I had burned off 783 kcal.

Breakfast: cereal, strawberries and melon (gala and water).
Lunch: chicken, green beans, peas, carrots,
Dinner: toasted sandwich (cheese and tomato)
Drinks: milk, water, fruit squash and fruit syrup.
Snack: biscuit.

Today I have been on 3 walks but I could say 5 walks, as the first 2 of the walks were actual walks to places and back, so my first was to the GM’s home, where I got my biscuit. The purpose of the visit was to deliver a box of Bénodet biscuits, biscuits from a place called Bénodet which was the town in France where we visited on our holiday that’s just been. The holiday was great, the Frog’s were all great also I didn’t have any complaints about the people, the only disappointing part about the whole holiday was the timing that we’d booked it for. As I have already stated that I enjoyed the holiday, but my only issue with it was the fact that the bike hire facilities were shut, if we had gone away more in season then we’d have had slightly more of an adventure, instead of a lazy walking holiday.

But I’m also thinking that yesterday Manchester United managed to win against opponents at home, after going 2 goals behind within the first 10 minutes.

Day 1878

Day 1878:

Now today I have returned home from France, and I have been in a car for the majority of the day again and I have only done 2439 steps which gave me a pitiful 1.61 km of distance walked and 577 kcal burned. As for my BMI it had increased to 18.50, for today.

Breakfast: cereal and banana.
Lunch: I’ve forgotten.
Dinner : I’ve forgotten.h
Drinks: milk, fruit syrup, Lucozade sport (Brazilian guava and Orange) and hot chocolate.
Snacks forgotten, jelly babies and Jaffa cakes.

So today I have had a properly lazy day as I don’t seem to have even put my foot, down, in front of my other foot, at least if you take my Wii Fit steps into account, as I have done immensely poorly.

Then I have been sat down in a car getting a headache for all of the day apart from the stops of the car minus the stop on the train, as I was instructed to stay in the car for the whole of the train trip under the channel which was a bit of a bore.

Friday, 5 October 2018

Day 1877

Day 1877;

But today I have only managed to get 27,735 steps by my watch, today has been my final day of my holiday in France so tomorrow I’m leaving the fair shores of France. It’s been good despite not having a bike hire, that’s open, to us.

Breakfast: cereal, banana, apple, orange and grapes.
Lunch:  bread (white), carrots, lettuce, tomatoes, some other stuff and a crepe with caramel.
Dinner: barbecue sausages, burgers, salmon, sweetcorn and banana), lettuce, tomato, tinned peas and apple tart.
Drinks: milk, water, fruit syrup and hot water in fruit syrup.
Snacks: biscuits and something else, I think at least.

On this day I have given myself a 2000 step cushion to start off with, by my jogging on the spot in the cloakroom (which doesn’t actually have any cloaks in). As I thought that today would probably be a lazy beach day, as it was apparently.

So today we first up walked across to the town, in search of gifts (we only found one), before we all walked to Carrefour (the hyper market) where we picked up the rest of the gifts from this holiday, which were some tins of biscuits basically.

Then we walked back to the cottage for another barbecue, which was delicious.

Day 1876

Day 1876;

Penultimate day of holiday and a disappointing number of steps, 20,012, by my watch of which a good hefty chunk of the steps were done on our little Carrefour trip in the afternoon.

Breakfast: cereal, banana, apple, orange and grapes.
Lunch: sandwich (cheese, ham, lettuce, tomatoes with white bread) and something.
Dinner: lasagna (tuna), lettuce, tomatoes, carrots, coleslaw, some other food, profiteroles and tiramisu.
Drinks: milk, water, fruit syrup and fruit syrup in hot water.
Snacks: I cannot fathom that I haven’t had any but I cannot remember.

Today was another lazy day which started off with another trip around Brittany in the car, this time it was to a place called Brest, which is a city just inside of the north west coast of France. Which was a pain, in my head, as I have discovered on this trip to the land of the frogs that my head doesn’t ache if we are just blasting our way down a motorway with all of the drivers behaving themselves, just as these frogs do on they’re motorways, with them all in their own practically pristine condition, now that is something that I like about having a privatised road network, but I don’t like paying for the use of roads, which is probably why they are in such good nick, as your standard frog could have as big of an objection to paying as I and they don’t use the roads which knocks the traffic down, and then there’s the issue of paying for use so therefore they will treat the roads with a bit more respect, and they don’t justto the middle lane and then just floor the accelerator pedal. Instead they’re staying in the outer lanes waiting until they get up behind another car before pulling into the inside lane to overtake.

But then today I have somehow managed to develop a cold (virus) but I have no idea as of how, due to the fact that the only 4 people that I have been in contact with for the last week has been the other 4 of the people that I have journeyed to France with, and the 5th person is the land lady of the place that we’re staying at, but that was just a quick shake of the hand, that all of us did, but none of the other 4 are even displaying symptoms of having the cold (virus).

Wednesday, 3 October 2018

Day 1875

Day 1875;

36,392 steps according to my watch today, I have stacked it multiple times today like that time that I was walking along a little wall and I don’t know how it happened but I found myself almost flat to the floor, so I quickly got myself back onto my feet, dusted myself down and I walked back to Mich.

Breakfast: cereal, banana, apple, orange and grapes.
Lunch: sandwich (cheese and ham in white bread), lettuce, tomatoes and something.
Dinner: calamari, lettuce, tomatoes, carrots and a tart de pomme (apple tart).
Drinks: milk, water, fruit syrup and fruit syrup with hot water.
Snacks: pan au chocolar (chocolate croissant) waffles (1 with caramel and a part of a Nutella one.

Also today I bumped my head on a wall , went it was more of a window ledge, so I got a small bump on my head and a graze. But Allergy was making quite a fuss over me and she’s getting herself all concerned about me as she has been saying that she knows what is best for me and she’s still going on about how I’m anorexic, apparently I do too much exercise. Well she was saying all that tripe, while I was jogging around attempting to get her to join in, all the tripe about how I’m too thin as I used to be getting too big for my 31 inch waist trousers now I have to use a belt to keep my trousers up.

Now I would understand her more if she was jealous of me, but why’d she be that, of me?

Tuesday, 2 October 2018

Day 1874

Day 1874;

I have done 24,137 steps by my watch today as I haven’t got on a bike/tandem today, as the place that is the bike hire place (which says open everyday on its door was closed.

Breakfast: cereal, banana, apple, orange and grapes.
Lunch: sandwich (cheese, ham and lettuce) and chocolate brownie.
Dinner: pizza (motzerella, ham and churros), lettuce, coleslaw and something which I have forgotten.
Drinks: milk, fruit syrup and water.
Snacks: 1 Oreo, 5 chocolate fingers and some other things.

 Now today I have been walking around a bit and I have even had a slight outside jog, it was only about a hundred meters jog. My eyes have been starting to play up on me again, so if I ever had need for a tandem now I am thinking would probably be a good time.

Then also I have been getting told off by Emu for not getting enough sleep in what a moron, I may not get as much sleep as you but a greater proportion of my sleep is proper deep sleep, in fact the amount of deep sleep that I got was greater than the amount, of deep sleep, that you’d had, so there goes it for me. I may not get as much sleep as you but when I do get some it’s generally going to be of a better quality.

Let’s move onto a topic of what’s going to kill you like the happy chappy that I am. As I was typing out earlier on “wouldn’t everything which is ‘good’ for you, eventually give you cancer,” by that I was meaning “everyone has to die of something, in the end, and now you’ve got more of a chance of living to an age an age where you’re either going to die of old age or cancer” as if at many places in our history there has been some actual hardship, like the World Wars, the Bubonic Plague and even some of the famines, that have inflicted upon us, as a species, which may in fact be the fault of some of those big businesses but I’m not interested in placing the blame on others.

Monday, 1 October 2018

Day 1873

Day 1873;

I got 24,466 steps today, which was surprisingly good for today, as at the start of the day I hadn’t got any high expectations for today, step count wise. But tomorrow I’ve got even less, as it’s supposedly the bike day tomorrow.

Breakfast : cereal, banana, apple, orange and grapes.
Lunch: buckwheat crepe (sausage and mustard).
Dinner: spaghetti bolognaise with cheese and a slice of apple tart.
Drinks: milk, fruit syrup, fruit syrup with lemonade and water.
Snacks: mikado stick, a bit of apple tart (a taste test sample) and some fruit pastilles.

But today I have managed to get Emu’s Fit Bit on to bike mode so she can now get her fitness activities on a bike registered by her Fit Bit, it was only my first interaction with the device, while it has been charged that is. But Emu was saying that it was something complicated and she couldn’t figure out how to make it work. But it’s a device for sports people, I’m unsure if I should state that I’m a kind of sports “person”, and we aren’t exactly known for being the most intelligent of people in fact in my case it’s the opposite, as I was so intelligent I got myself hit by a car, which isn’t the most intelligent thing that I have ever done in my life.

Also today I have walked around quite a bit which wasn’t bad for another “lazy” day of holiday I have been thinking about Emu’s Fit Bit today but I cannot workout why she’s been saying that it’s not been working for her on Strava, does she know that she has to set her Fit Bit up to record the activity before she actually completes the activity else it wouldn’t record the activity? But then again it’s C that’s doing a competition for step his way between the locations of his work place, of which Emu seems to think that the Fit Bit Wii somehow convert the distance cycled into steps, how ever I cannot see that happening probably as I don’t have a Fit Bit, I have a Garmin Forerunner which adds the distance to the part which is below the steps but it doesn’t add any steps. But maybe the Fit Bit challenge works a similar way, but I don’t know.
