Day 2250

Day 2250:

Today I have decided to start up again on this here blog, just as I have got the time to do so this morning, as I got up extra early.

Breakfast: Weetabix, fruit (I know it was banana, apple, orange but I cannot remember what else I'm thinking that I may have had a couple of strawberries thrown in also) and that was followed by a cup of fruit juice.

Lunch: Sandwich (salmon in brown bread), I had 2 cup cakes for desert and that was followed by a cup of fruit squash.

Dinner: Vegetarian spaghetti bolognese, parmesan, mozzarella, chocolate mousse and that was followed by a cup of fruit squash.

Snacks: Today I have had 3 cups of fruit squash, hot lemon squash and honey.

So today I have got up extra early due to Mich actually having to go into work this morning, so I got myself up early so that I could eat my breakfast all promptly. Then I could get on with my morning exercise routine, but it dragged on a bit today; into the afternoon today, which was all fine and dandy apart from my speed around the Champs-Élysées, which was a bit slow.

Thus far last week, well on Sunday, we (Mich and I) completed another 100mi cycle ride, but I was disappointed it was only 98mi. Then it was the day before, so Saturday, I discovered that I couldn't float which is a bit of a downer when it comes to swimming but then fortunately I can still swim, "front-stroke"/"breaststroke"/whatever you call it you know the type of swimming where you put your face down into the water and then you kick your legs and pull at the water with your arms I can still do but I just cannot breath while i do it so I attempted it in the shallows of the pool, which had me swimming about a third of the width of the pool before I needed to breath. Then I was trying swimming on my back whatever it's called "backstroke"/"squirrel-stroke"/whatever... which apart from the immediate sensation of sinking that I feel as soon as I get onto my back, works pretty well as I soon get my feet up to a decent enough cadence/speed. But then again the swimming was with Emu, C and their son, I think I can remember Emu saying something to the effect of C being embarrassed to be seen around my body after I got out of the pool by pushing down on the side of the pool with my hands to lift my body out of the water and onto the side; well I'm sure that my body isn't that bad. Or it could have been my offer to help him and his son get out of the pool after me, which their eighteen month old son accepted my hand and I pulled him out, but his C didn't.

Now going forward a bit to Monday I remember doing an hour long Zwift ride in the afternoon as Emu, C and son, were still around for the morning, I also got in a little bounce and some weight lifting. Tuesday I got a bit of Zwift riding, weight lifting, treadmill running/jogging, stair-stepping, bounce before finally getting in a bit on the tandem. Wednesday I did a bit of treadmill running, weight lifting, stair-stepper, bounce and it was another pub ride. That's what it was for this week until today which is Thursday so I have done a little bit of treadmill running/jogging, and then I have done another weight lifting, then it was another little step on the stair-stepper, before my bounce and another Zwift ride.

Why I Don't Support BLM, or any of the teams kneeling for them

I disagree with BLM as it is a terrorist organisation, as they use terror to get what they want, like George Floyd’s killer's conviction as some of the jurors have stated that they feared what would happen if they voted not to convict; which is, probably, why it was such a quick case.

There disregard for the rule of law, like with what they did with that statue in Bristol, Edward Colston, if they want it removed so badly they should have appealed to the correct authorities, not just tear it down and throw it in the river. Then all of the people that they have killed in the USA like the story, below, Secoriea Turner, an 8 year old girl, who was shot and killed by BLM quote from her mother "They say Black Lives Matter. You killed your own, you killed your own this time."
https://news.sky.com/story/secoriea-turner-eight-year-old-girl-among-several-children-shot-dead-over-independence-day-weekend-12022188
So what does BLM actually mean? “black” deaths matter when they help us push our agenda other than that we don’t care? But seriously if they were serious about black lives truly mattering wouldn't they be greater in favour of “black” children staying in schools and getting a higher level of education and they’d be more interested in the great achievements of their “back” forebears. and not getting involved with drugs, unlike the patron Saint of BLM, I’m typing about George Floyd here, or even the newer sacrifice to the cause, Winston Boogie Smith, who was an armed “black” man who was gunned down by the police.
https://nypost.com/2021/06/04/winston-boogie-smith-pulled-gun-on-cops-before-he-was-killed/
I don’t care what the pigment of your skin is, it could be blue for all I care. It should be the content of your character that counts not down to the colour of your skin, as was said by that great man on the 28th of August 1963 in his “I Have A Dream” speech, which sadly I wasn’t alive for.

Then why don’t I agree with the footballers taking the knee before they get to play, it’s as they don’t just have this to be their voice, they have got loads of opportunities for them to make their political position clear and it doesn’t have to be in the way of a game. As that is what the talking of the knee is, it’s a political statement in support of BLM, not blm (lowercase), it came about as George Floyd was killed by the knee of the police officer which is how it became a symbol of BLM the terrorist organisation. Besides George Floyd wasn’t a saint, he did some really messed up stuff in his life, by that I mean he pointed a gun to a pregnant woman’s pregnant belly, it may have been as he was high at the time. Is that your best excuse? Because if it is then you’ve got some problems, it’s not really an excuse. I know it may explain why he did it but it doesn’t excuse his actions.

Anyway aren’t they in contradiction with some of the first rules of owning your firearm? Always assume that a firearm is loaded and never point your firearm at anyone, even if it has no ammo in it’s barrel, as if you pull your gun on anyone that would invite anyone to pull one on you as they’re assuming yours is loaded so shoot you before you shoot anyone.

Day 2249

Day 2249;

Now for the past two days I have had a couple of disappointing days in terms of the activities that I have done today, as I haven’t actually done any; minus the walks.

Now today and yesterday were just basically write-offs but then tomorrow it is planned for to go back on the bike (tandem), and then Emu has actually read my message to her, the one about getting me swimming again and she thinks it's a good idea just a shame that she didn't read the message before she got into the car to come up to where I live else-wise... I don't know but I may be allowed to go off for a swim any time that I like, as long as the pool is open that is. Then again I may be allowed to get my gym membership renewed as with my membership I'd get "free" access to the pool so I could do my daily little warm up routine for the mornings then in the afternoon I could go off to the pool and proper gym for my afternoons exercise. I think that Steve Bate said that his days are spent doing similar, and he is a Paralympic gold medalist.

So I've got my CV done, now, I just need to post it off to the respective organisations for hiring me... that is the more challenging part of the whole ordeal.

Day 2248

Day 2248;

Now then today will be my first day of this year for me to actually post something on this blog.

Now this may have actually been because I have got a bit more lazy within my outlook of this problem that we call life. Or it may just be that I had forgotten about it? But I don’t really see that happening, I was having such a good time as of late so I have just decided to let you people in again, on it. Not that I actually know that anyone’s even reading the words that I print out to the screens.

Recently I have been thinking about getting myself in better shape, now my plan is for when I get up in the morning is to go downstairs for my breakfast obviously. Then assuming that I have accomplished that activity without any complications I next take a fifteen minute cycle on the Zwift bike, before I have a fifteen minute row on the rowing machine, which is before I have a fifteen minute jog/run on the treadmill, and I top it off with a fifteen minute bounce on the little trampoline.

Then I take a break and I have a drink (not a Kit Kat). Before I have my second little fifteen minute cycle on the Zwift bike, now this one is always slower than the first, I believe, but then when I did them today I was seriously impressing myself. As not only did I manage to get myself to an average speed of greater than 21mph for the first fifteen minutes, as I had done that once before, but I managed to get myself to an average speed of greater than the 21mph twice in one day. But it was, admittedly, only over fifteen minutes. Then after I had rode around Watopia I had myself a nice little bit of dumbbell lifting, it was nothing too strenuous (only half a pound, 1 pound, before finally 2 pound of weight). Then all that was left for me to do was a little bit of quick stepping in the FittCube, or just my final fifteen minutes of my workout; which takes about two hours of workout time total.

So now that is what I have done every morning, on weekdays (Monday to Friday). For a while now I can’t remember how long exactly as I have been doing the three exercises that aren’t weight lifting and don’t have anything to do with Zwift a bit haphazardly since I started off with the routine. But then there’s the weekends that I don’t have a routine of exercise for but I do generally have the little thing, I even believe that I may have done three fifteen minute workouts on the bike one of these past days. But I’m still attempting to be a Paralympian, I don’t quite know what sport or athletic pursuit, I’m best suited for though.

Day 2247

Day 2247:

Somewhere over the rainbow, way up high? I cannot remember but I know that it has got something to do with bluebirds flying in the song I think over the white cliffs of Dover then again don’t quote me on that.

I wasn’t speaking about the unfair nature of life, I was typing about the generic blanket statement, which is objectively false. As no lives matter, objectively. Again you could say that everyone’s lives matter to someone else. But I think that it’s the individuals that matter not the colour of their skin. Wasn’t it Martin Luther King that said something about people being judged upon the content of their character not the colour of their skin. So doesn’t that kind of mean that ‘Black Lives Matter’ are going against him?

Why are they protesting about it now though and it wasn’t the protests that people are concerned about as long as it can be done at a spread out fashion, it’s the riots and looting which undoubtedly go along with it, petty criminals which take any opportunity which is given to them. Then again it’s times of the Chinese virus the virus which is racist (against blacks) so I’m not understanding why a lot of black folks are gathering in groups wouldn’t that be a recipe for the R rate to skyrocket and of the people that are infected with the virus a higher rate of death will be sure to follow.

If black lives really matter wouldn’t you be urging them to stay indoors at the current time?

Why are the Labour Parties most associated with the fat middle classes? As aren’t they supposed to be for the impoverished labourers workers of the nation, who through their toil their freedom (life of retirement) will be plentiful and great, if for no other reason than the workers Mrs has borne fruit and it’s there to look after the two of you in old age. I know that I am typing in olden days terms with the implication that the man has been the worker. I realise that that is no longer the case in practically all of the households in the land.

So that is my two pence on the situation that was happening when I started this blogpost.

Day 2246

Day 2246;

Enough about me and my BMI and about all that I have ate. I should probably start going on about Boris Johnson and his whopping 36.18 BMI which is only if the Sun (newspaper) is to be believed. As it said that his height was 5 foot 9 inches, which must be similar to my height, but then his weight is 17.5 stone, 17 and a half stone is 17 stone 7 pounds. Which is where we differ, just about, with mine being something that I cannot remember I think that it was something like 60kg today which in imperial is 9 stone 6.3 lbs. Then again I am hyperactive, at least I believe.

I’m driven to be performing at my maximum, I think that probably should be the correct terminology. As I’ve now got two reasons to perform, first is for the one I love then second it’s to become the “coolest” uncle. As Mich said that I’ll be a cool uncle for the little ankle biter, as he will have a treadmill, rowing machine, exercise bike, Fitt Cube, and some weights for him to play with whenever he comes round to here. But then again both of his parents want him to become a musician, I only want him to be fit and healthy which if his father is anything to go by good luck on getting that wish. I have never done anything to be cool, I may have actually done some things to be deliberately uncool in the past but then again nothing cool has seemed worth it if I like something then I like it nothing wrong with that and if I don’t then I don’t, simple. Coolness has never really happened to me.

So what is all this stuff about becoming the “coolest” uncle, well imagine your a child again and then think about how cool your uncle would be if he’d competed at an Olympics, and then maybe even won gold, well that is my goal. Not about becoming cool, that isn’t my goal, competing at an Olympic or Paralympic Games is my goal. Which may have similar outcomes, well competing at an Olympics may make me “cool” not that being cool will put me up there competing in the Olympics.

Well I had been out on the tandem for a nice ride, it was only a one hundred mile ride, around the flats of Essex, no worries about the little hill. It’s called North Hill, anyway it was 0.6km in length 40m in height (I think) and 6.5% average gradient. We had managed to set up a new record for us on it as 3:33 the better cyclists would probably be able to get it done in under a minute, but for us two on a tandem, it’s not that bad, especially seeing as when we had done it prior it took us 25 seconds more, I’m not sure if that was another one of our one hundred mile escapades ether, I don’t think so. So it was probably just a 50 mile little ride. Which wouldn’t have required almost as much stuff on the bike so that may have had a negative impact on our performance; which we managed to achieve something better how bizarre (I’m writing excuses for the poor performance that we didn’t have).

Then a day later I have been lazy with the conservatory out of bounds, until later on that day when I have given myself a short cycle around London on Zwift, it was short as in length of time it was only for thirty minutes. Then again I had managed to make myself go at some speed, as I had managed to get the Zwift bike ten miles in half an hour which gave me an average speed of twenty miles per hour. Which was a first time for that, and then what happened to me after that ride was something that I had first felt earlier on the day. It was as if my heart started beating loud enough for me to hear it but then it only started after I had completed my exercise. So I’m believing that it had something to do with adrenaline, but I will go into that a bit more.

So my experiences of suspected adrenaline first happened to me about in the couple of hours after lunch. It was as Mich had told me that there were some pots that I couldn’t lift, as I’d drop them, and they are too heavy for me; but not for him suspiciously enough. The pots were a bit awkward me to pick up. As I know as I tried to pick up the pots first/before he caught me up but then again by the time that he arrived he picked them up with a lot of bother. Then after we had returned to the back garden he first got me taking some more pots to another place in the garden using the trolley, before the last pot which he allowed me to carry, in my hands, over to him. So I first got myself ready to lift the pot, then I rocked the pot a bit to get my arm underneath it then I clamped my other arm around the other side of the pot, pot secured. Next thing to do was for me to transport the plant of which I did. After I had given the pot it was a few seconds before my heart started beating loudly l I told Mich and he told me that m6 body was working backwards. On the second occasion it was as I had already stated earlier, I was on the Zwift bike just going for a quick half hour blast around the flats of London, then again after I had finished my blast, my heart started beating more quickly, or as I am thinking the Adrenaline ran out after I stopped using it which caused me to notice the accelerated speed of my heart.

Day 2245

Day 2245;

Sunday:

So today my BMI was 19.49, I had walked 26,602 steps, which was 17.22km, and in the over 10 miles I had burned off 2111kcal.

Breakfast: weetabix (chocolate), banana, orange, apple, strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries.
Lunch: prawn open sandwich, and something.
Dinner: toad in the hole (sausage in Yorkshire pudding), broccoli, carrots, cauliflower, peas, potatoes,viennetta and chocolate trifle.
Drinks: fruit juice, fruit squash, Lucozade sport (raspberry), and hot lemon squash.
Snacks: pan au chocolat, biscuits, and a chocolate bar.

Now today I have got up, I have had my breakfast and then I have headed out on our little tandem ride around about thirty miles, it just goes to show how weak I am, if you’re looking at our speed and time for the ride. As the average speed was Something slightly higher than fifteen mph and I had only managed to get to about thirty miles in longer than two hours. So that was a letdown, but then again Allergy was also telling me a bit about a boy that I knew from school; and he couldn’t remember me which was a bit of a relief.

Monday:

My BMI was 19.20, I had taken 24,960 steps, which was 16.16km, and I had burned 2066kcal off.

Breakfast: weetabix (chocolate), banana, orange, apple, strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries.
Lunch: tinned spaghetti, bread (wholemeal), Batternburg and shortbread.
Dinner: sausages in gravy, peas, carrots, sweetcorn, green beans, potatoes and chocolate trifle.
Drinks: fruit juice, fruit squash and hot lemon.
Snacks: pan au chocolat,  and shortbread.

Now this day I have been getting upto my usual routine, which started off with a half hour row, before a ten minutes on the stepper. P.E. with Joe, then I had a little break for the pan au chocolat, before I got back on the treadmill for a slightly longer than thirty minute little run, which was supposed to be around a place on Zwift, but it never happened, so I just had myself another twelve laps on the treadmill. I had also been lifting some small weights, so that was my morning.

Then in the afternoon I have got out on the Zwift bike, but it wasn’t outside it was inside, in our makeshift gym. Then after that I think I ate my dinner and I watched a bit on the box, I don’t know what I watched but I am thinking that there was at some point in the time of me watching Pirot came on.

Tuesday:

I had a BMI of 19.56, steps were 20,667, which was 13.38km, and I had burned 1728kcal.

Breakfast: weetabix, banana, orange, apple, strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries.
Lunch: poached egg on bread, spaghetti hoops, and something.
Dinner: sausage casserole, peas, carrots, green beans, sweetcorn,
Drinks: fruit juice, fruit squash and hot lemon squash.
Snacks: pastry, biscuits, and chocolate bar.

In the morning I had managed to get 2896m on the rowing machine in quarter of an hour, before I stood up and I moved along to the Fitt Cubed, for some more stepping. When I had finished it was time for P.E. with Joe, so that took up the next half hour or so long. Then it was time for another little run, on the treadmill so I’d accomplished that activity and it was time for my pastry.

When I had finished my pastry, I decided to go for a little lift of some of my weights. Then it was time for me to have a shower, as I stank, before I ate lunch. After lunch I did a little cycle on the Zwift bike, before I had another shower before I went out of the house for my one external exercise of the day, we went on a walk around the town.

I did that before I ate dinner and then I had eaten dinner I stayed up for a bit just hanging around, not literally, before I went to bed.

Saturday, 25 April 2020

Day 2244

Day 2244;

My BMI was 19.43, the number of steps that I had made were 26,926, which was 17.43km, and I had burned 1867kcal.

Breakfast: weetabix (chocolate), apple, orange, banana, raspberries, blueberries, strawberries, and yogurt.
Lunch: mini pizza, jam and cream doughnut, chocolate eclair, lemon cake, and egg custard.
Dinner: dauphinoise potatoes, broccoli, peas, carrots, green beans, something, and chocolate trifle.
Drinks: fruit juice, fruit squash, Lucozade sport (raspberry) and hot lemon squash.
Snacks: toasted scone,

21st
Tuesday morning I had the usual mug of fruit juice and I had a second third full mug of prune juice, of which I think that prunes taste suspiciously similar to raisins. What is this, some kind of conspiracy? Ha a conspiracy to grow some big raisins and call them prunes, I have no idea of the reason behind such an action but is there a group of people that are called prunes which are just like bigger people and they have stones in? Then later on Tuesday I had another cycle with Mich, or did he have a cycle with me? It was fun we managed to get an average speed of 17.3mph.

22nd
Wednesday morning i actually got some stuff done as I had myself a good morning’s little workout, but I didn’t get a go on the treadmill, as I had jammed the RunPod on to Allergy’s trainers, which was a helpful thing to do for no one. As it has to only just came off, with some technical skill from Mich.

23rd
Thursday morning I was waiting for Allergy to arrive so I set her up on a little jog, but by the time that she did arrive it was the time for our mid morning snack, and then after that we actually got to some of her running we only had something like thirteen minutes of it before we had to go and shower before lunch. Another little factor which impacted on her runs time was the thing that occasionally happens to the RunPod, it occasionally shuts itself down, when it does that you have to take the RunPod off of your shoe and then reset it (by taking the battery out for ten seconds, then reinserting it and voila).

24th
Friday was much like my usual  weekday routine, I got up, I went downstairs I had breakfast. Then next up I did some stuff on the fit cube before I had a row. Then it was time for P.E. with Joe before I had myself a tiny little jog on the treadmill. And then in the afternoon I had another tandem ride.

25th

It was a Saturday today, the first day of the weekend, which is one of my rest days. So I have had another lazy morning, with only lifting some weights as exercise. But then in the afternoon we have been out on the tandem. For today it was a slightly longer ride around the countryside, well not really the countryside more of along the roads. I think that we need an off-road tandem.

Ok well on current events I have been thinking what is the Main Stream Media going on about? Bashing Trump making out like he said something that he didn’t.

I don’t understand what everybody’s problems with Trump are. As he was saying that they are attempting a new therapy, one which uses light to clear out the infection from people’s lungs. But then in the middle he went off on a tangent, saying that he’d have thought that as detergent can kill the virus on your clothes it should be as simple as injected yourself with something similar to detergent to kill off the virus.

Which is similar to what I had already stated using chlorine anyway but because he’s the president of the US, and the Main Stream Media hate him, they all jump on the bandwagon saying that Donald Trump says that if you’re infected with the coronavirus then you should inject yourself with detergent. Which he never actually said.  More on the topic of orange man bad? I’m thinking.

Monday, 20 April 2020

Day 2243

Day 2243;

My BMI was 19.56, my steps were at 26,428, floors climbed were 14, I had even burned off 3,222kcal, and I have managed to get 322 intensity minutes done today.

Breakfast: weetabix (chocolate), banana, orange, apple, strawberries, and grapes.
Lunch: tinned spaghetti rings, bread,(wholemeal), and something.
Dinner: fish (salmon), broccoli, peas, carrots, potatoes and something.
Drinks: fruit juice, fruit squash, Lucozade sport (orange), and hot lemon squash.
Snacks: toasted scone, chocolate bar and biscuits.

So two days ago was a weekend day, which feels like just another day then again it wasn’t a regular old weekday it was as you probably knew a Saturday. What is special about this Saturday well I have no idea of what it could be like for you I’m under lockdown probably much similar to you. Then what is it that I did in the morning well I have started off with a little jog about on Zwift before I had Allergy to do P.E. with, which was a bit of treadmill jogging/running.

But then again that was last Saturday, and I had been training Allergy; to hopefully get her down a stone or a dress size and a half, as that is what she wants. Then today I have had her on the treadmill “running” around London on Zwift. Which she told me that she actually enjoyed, note to self: people enjoy seeing things as they’re working out. As I hadn’t taken that into consideration in my mind before, and it’s quite obvious in reality. That other people actually get along better with visual stimuli like me who can run run with or without the use of eyes, as practically anyone else can but then again I have actually had some practice in this field , or should I state track? As my running without my eyes has happened numerous on numerous occasions, like before the lockdown when I was competing in something I was doing the long jump and 100 meters. Long jump was entertaining enough as it was usually but 100m wasn’t ideal especially not as I kept coming out of my lane.

But then I have also attempted to get my own run on the treadmill in later on today, which went well, I think it did at least. But then again before all of the stuff that I have mentioned previously I have also been for a row and P.E, with Joe. So what I did in between my run and getting Allergy fit... well it was a little walk around the garden and the tandem ride that I had been on. Well I think that was it that I did, today. Apart from eat which I did at intervals between the activities.

Wednesday, 15 April 2020

Day 2242

Day 2242;

As a BMI today I got 19.85, I had taken 22,324 steps, 14.45km apparently, and I had burned 1827kcal.

Breakfast: weetabix, banana, orange, apple, strawberries, blueberries and raspberries.
Lunch: spaghetti Bolognese.
Dinner: toad in the hole, broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, peas, potatoes and lemon meringue pie.
Drinks: fruit juice, fruit squash
Snacks: pastry, lemon cake, twirl bar, Tunocks wafer, and chocolate mini eggs.

Now today I have been doing the usual workout routine but not the exact routine an abridged version, as I have had Allergy to entertain by setting up a little routine for her to do. In hope of loosing some of the relatively loads of weight that she seems to have put on over the past year or so long, but now this time it gives us a better chance of keeping her more slim. As she isn’t just driving around in her car to peoples homes to tell them how to look after their children, stopping off at McDonald’s on the way. At least in the short term this has been fixed.

So anyway I got up later than I’d have liked to but then again it’s this whole thing about how farmers are having to pay to import a load of cheep Eastern European labour, to pick their crops. I am unsure of why, why don’t they just put the extra money that it costs to import the Labour into the wages of their employees to make it more appetising for British youngsters, as I would much rather be working out on the land than in an office. Then I concede the education system here ain’t up to prepping us to do that kind of work, it’s more into getting us to do some algebra which I am yet to find a use for in my regular life. See it’s just like this: they teach you stuff that don’t help you in your lives unless you’re going to do something certain, then the rest of what you have learned is nonsense.

I don’t really know much about anything, but then I know that I’m stupid, apparently I was a bit good looking in my past, then again I never saw that about myself quite literally. Is there an arbitrary standard of what is called handsome or pretty or can anything be called that, and it’s just up to the persons perspective? I thought it was just up to the persons personal opinion. As it is so how could I possibly say that I was in anyway attractive? I can’t I can only tell you of what one persons opinion of my appearance was. So I’m not saying that I was attractive I’m saying that I had a friend that thought that I was attractive, and then again I thought that she was pretty attractive also. But then again I am a man without a romantic bone in my body, I need a reason to act, and for so long that reason has eluded me.

Thursday, 9 April 2020

Day 2241

Day 2241;

19.98 was my BMI today, I had made 18,178 steps, which were apparently 11.77km, and I had burned 1424kcal.

Breakfast: weetabix, banana, orange, apple,strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries.
Lunch: macaroni cheese and a shortbread.
Dinner: turkey steak, peas, carrots, potatoes and lemon meringue pie.
Drinks: fruit juice, fruit squash and hot lemon squash.
Snacks: toasted hot crossed bun

So today I have been on the gym equipment at my house, for the usual amount of time on the rowing machine (just 15 minutes) and the fit cube (10 minutes). Then I did the mornings P.E. with Joe, and I did a bit over half an hour on the treadmill.it was only around the track I think that I only managed to get myself just about slightly more than 8 laps done, I believe.

The thankfully I had taken it upon myself to have an hour’s long little walk around out back today, else the little cycle which had my minutes of intensity up above 1000 for the week. Then before that I found out that I had become an uncle, Emu’s had her first child. It’s a son of which I will be calling Jim from now on, at least until he can tell me what he would like to be called.

After the news that Mich had become a grandfather Mich only wanted a half hour on the tandem, and then it wasn’t which turned into twenty one minutes. So it wasn’t very good for the old intensity minutes, so we had a mini cycle; one that was particularly pathetic.

Tuesday, 7 April 2020

Day 2240

Day 2240;

My BMI was 19.85, my steps were 20,243, my kilometres walked were  13.11km, and I had burned off 1682kcal.

Breakfast: weetabix, banana, orange, apple, and yogurt.
Lunch: sandwich (salmon, cream cheese, green leaves, purple leaves in wholemeal bread) and lemon cake.
Dinner: fish, macaroni cheese, carrots, broccoli and lemon meringue pie.
Drinks: fruit juice, fruit squash, and hot Ribena.

Yesterday I had forgotten what I had eaten for lunch and dinner, even though I thought that I could recall eating something which included bread, egg, prawns, lettuce, tomatoes, some pink food dressing, but I couldn’t really remember if I ate that yesterday or was it sometime in the past? Then what I could remember was what I had done yesterday morning before eating lunch, which was as it was what I was supposed to do this morning, which is the usual plus a turn on the fitness cube (for ten minutes).

So today I have been attempting to get my usual weekday workout in. I have first gone on the Fitness Cube, another little ten minutes of stepping. Next I have gone on the rowing machine, for fifteen minutes. But in future I should have probably been on it for half an hour (it leaves me less time to be bored while waiting for Joe). Well that’s for tomorrow’s workout. Then I was doing some more of P.E. with Joe, which was before I had myself a half hour jog on Zwift.

Then I had my lunch I think at least, before I have forgotten what I did for the majority of the afternoon. Before I went out in our one exercise trip out of the day on the back of the tandem for a little eighteen mile ride of which we stopped at a friend of Tini’s house to deliver some card, gift or something. before we peddled around at speeds higher than eighteen mph for fifteen miles, before we stopped to offer some help with a persons car, which kind of mucked up our average speed for the ride.

Day 2239

Day 2239;

As of tonight my BMI was down to something like 19.86, my steps were 33,010, and in doing that many steps I managed to burn 2828kcal off.

Breakfast: weetabix, orange, banana, grapes and apple.
Lunch: baked potato with cheese, ham, tinned spaghetti, poached egg, chocolate eclair, jam doughnut and cream slice.
Dinner: chicken, peas, carrots, potatoes and tiramisu.
Drinks: fruit juice, fruit squash, Lucozade sport (orange) and milky tea.
Snacks: chocolate and Tunocks wafer.

The other day I noticed that I’m having a kind of pain, an annoyance, in my chest; but only sometimes, when I take a deep breath in or when  I cough. But even then only when I make a loud chesty cough, or have a particularly sharp intake of breath. Is it Corona I hear some of you say fingers crossed (in hope) there’s next to nothing that would please me more than to have the Chinese Virus (Kung Flu) but unfortunately I don’t think so, as it was more like a heart issue than a lung issue, as it was exclusively on my left hand side of my chest (suspiciously close to where I believe that my heart is and the other day, when I was eating my pudding of chocolate trifle the trifle seemingly fixed it, but then again my little heart could have been pushed in/out by the increasing (? Potentially) size of my lungs as I had been intensively working out recently.

But why am I informing you of this revelation it’s as there is no more news. Except Boris has just had to go back into hospital for more tests on Corona, but other than that let’s see... the new Labour leader has been selected and he’s already been insulating the government about their speed in reacting, and another story was about some Joe Rogan saying that if the contest was between Joe Biden and Trump he’d vote for Trump, not as Trump is the Tops, but as he can’t actually see anything promising from Joe Biden (for some medical reasons, basically put Joe is suffering from memory loss). I mean he was speaking about something then he forgot what he was just about to say. Just Google it if you don’t believe me.

Then in some good news only six hundred and twenty people died today which is down on yesterday’s total. For us here in Blighty.

Day 2238

Day 2238;

I had a BMI of 19.49, and according to Wii fit I have done 10,023 steps, which gives me a distance of 6.49km, and apparently I have burned off 1315kcal.

Breakfast: weetabix, banana, orange, apple, grapes and yogurt.
Lunch: poached egg on bread and chocolate cake.
Dinner: haddock en crute, broccoli, peas, carrots, green beans, potatoes and chocolate trifle.
Drinks: fruit juice, fruit squash and milky tea.
Snack: red velvet cake.

This day was a great day as I got my minutes of intensity up to seven hundred and seventy, which was a plus of about three hundred and eighteen. My watch steps were also quite a bit higher than my Wii Fit steps which is at twenty two thousand one hundred and forty two. My flights of stairs that I have climbed today have been only a modest fifteen.

Then again I have managed to get my new Zwift run-pod working today, I think that I still need to work on control of the speed, I had got it to high speed as it asked me to, but then moving the speed down' isn’t as simple, for me.

Day 2237

Day 2237;

Today my BMI was 20.08, my steps were 11,680, distance was 7.56,  and I have burned off 1,339kcal.

Breakfast: weetabix, orange, banana and apple.
Lunch: toastie (cheese) and chocolate cake.
Dinner: seafood pasta Viennetta and chocolate trifle.
Drinks: fruit juice, fruit squash and
Snacks: rice cake (chocolate), tunocks wafer

So today I have had a special day apparently, but a good day I have had as I have done my mornings fifteen minute row with a twenty minute little treadmill jog, and then I have also done some P.E. with Joe, in the morning before I opened my presents. Why am I getting any presents today I don’t know but something happened a long long time ago on this day, I cannot remember the day but I really should be able to remember it you’d have thought. Then again I think no one can actually remember their own. So why do people celebrate it so? Tini and Mich can remember the day that I am referring to so I’m guessing that I’ll have to humour them two.

But then today I have received some quite good things, like a Tyrolean hat, which is amazing; not for any particular reason it is just my personal opinion on the hat. As I saw one whilst I was on my ski trip and I just couldn’t help myself but stare at it. So Mich decided that it would do as a gift for me for this day. Another gift that I received today was some dumbbells, which have taken pride of place in my little gym, and I got a fitness cube thingamajig which I have used as a stepper, when I had put my Tyrolean hat on so Tini could film me to send to Emu as it was Emu (and C) that got me the fitness cube.

I also have got a Zwift device for some running so I’ll be able to run up and down Watopia on the treadmill now as well as going for rides around Watopia, plus I’ll be able to get my heart rate measured at the same time thanks to a new device that I asked for with it, which should apparently work with the cycling on Zwift as well, so that’s a bonus.

Then after all that I had been on a tandem ride with Mich which was excellent as we had managed to get thirty miles done in under two hours, Allergy said was it windy, I signified yes it was windy, then Allergy basically said that the wind must have helped us, then I corrected her the wind was in our faces for the majority of the ride. But the ride was great and it’s added onto my total of my minutes of intensity that I have done for this week so far.

Day 2236

Day 2236;pk

20.50

Breakfast: weetabix, banana, orange, apple, strawberries and yogurt.
Lunch:  chicken, broccoli, peas, carrots, green beans, stuffing, roasted potatoes, apple pie and ice-cream.
Dinner: cheese omelette and cake.
Drinks: fruit juice, fruit squash and milky tea.
Snacks: biscuits, brownie bites and millionaires bites.

Now today has marked the end of the first week on lockdown, and it has gone by pretty well (I think), with us in the UK having less deaths than yesterday (of people with the virus) for a first time since the outbreak started, so we could say that’s one win for the UK such a shame that the new anomaly won’t be the new norm for us, however if it did then I think that we could have a little celebration on our hands. It may be enough for us to stop using that Chinese company in the construction of our 5G network. Anyway who needs a 5G network... anyone?

Today has also been a second lazy day, as I have spent the morning playing on the Switch, some switch fit game. Then in the afternoon I have had myself a row on the machine, which was fun. I only managed to get myself to 5080m today in half an hour, which was really disappointing especially because Mich got 5336m on his early today attempt. But I know s reason as to why he’s better than me at it. It was as he was saying during my row it was because I wasn’t extending my arms, well at least not for the first twenty minutes then after Mich informed me of what I was doing wrong and I attempted to rectify it which caused me more problems than it solved.

Wednesday, 25 March 2020

Day 2235

Day 2235;

My BMI was 19.89, steps I had taken 11,632 steps, which was only 7.53km and I had burned off 1412kcal.

Breakfast: weetabix (chocolate), banana, orange, raspberries, apple and yogurt.
Lunch: omelette (cheese) and lemon cake.
Dinner: chicken, carrots, peas, broccoli, green beans, potatoes, profiteroles and chocolate cheesecake.
Drinks: fruit juice, fruit squash, cordial and fruit tea.
Snacks: chocolate brownie bites, millionaire shortbread bites and some chocolate coins.

Now today I have had a brain wave of how I can live my life, for the foreseeable future at least. It is as I have got twenty four hours to use, so if I designate certain things to happen at certain times then I can get myself more fit. As in during the week (Monday - Friday) there’s this funny dude that goes on YouTube doing P.E., I think he’s called Joe Wicks, so I have decided to join him in doing some of the exercises in the morning but after I have had a Row on my rowing machine and a jog on the treadmill (which was a walk this morning) so then it’s a kind of cool down for me. Then I spent the rest of the morning on the Switch playing more Links Awakening, and that’s was my morning.

Now then that I did, this morning I had myself running a bit out of time  because I was wasting time which is why I have decided that I shan’t do a fifteen minute row followed by a half hour walk on the treadmill. Fifteen minute row should still be do able but the half hour no... let’s just give me a twenty minute jog on the treadmill. Then I should have enough time to get myself washed and sorted before the YouTube fitness dude comes to life.

Day 2234

Day 2234:

My BMI of today was 19.95, I had done 10,220 steps, which was only 6.62km and I have burned off 1171kcal.

Breakfast: weetabix (chocolate), raspberries, banana, orange, blueberries, apple and yogurt.
Lunch: pie, carrots, peas, cauliflower, green beans, potatoes and something.
Dinner: chicken, carrots, noodles and something.
Drinks: fruit juice, fruit squash and milky tea.
Snack: Tunocks wafer.

So it is going to be like this then is it? At least until we have beaten this new virus, the Chung Flu. And when it’s all over in a hundred years or so long time (it was one hundred and two years since the last, the Spanish Flu) so long enough for it to be forgotten about.

But then yesterday I had a BMI of 20.15, my steps were 15,489, which was apparently 10.03km and I had burned off 1395kcal. Which was according to Wii Fit but then yesterday I was going to get another one of these blogposts up which was put a stop to by my eating of my dinner (which was pie, carrots, peas, cauliflower and green beans) basically my lunch for today. As I had another one of my phlegm episodes which Mich has taken me to the hospital for before now such a waste, but no longer I’m thinking it is viable for me to be taken to the hospital when I have another one of those phlegm episodes, at least not until this pandemic is dealt with. Which is good I think.

Then again today I have also walked up eleven floors, according to my watch. My watch also tells me that I have done 20,610 steps and my intensity minutes for this week currently stand at 595, of which I’m thinking that I did 345 minutes today so that means that it was 250 minutes yesterday. Just as we go into lockdown as a nation so the Labour Party has been saying that we haven’t gone quick enough into it? But then again wasn't it the Labour mayor of London that was saying that there’s no risk of catching the Chung Flu on a tube train (or any of London’s public transport for the matter) on a day that was something like three weeks ago. Then again today it has been reported that he has made a U-turn on that opinion.

Now I’m not sure what I’m really getting at in that tirade it’s just an observation. Like the one that I made about the Coronavirus being a better force of change in our travels across the world than Greta, who did the “How dare you” speech and frowned along with a lot of virtue signalling. Which struck up the conversation but then it did nothing more.

Day 2233

Day 2233;

Now today I had a BMI of 20.24, I have taken 11,687 steps, which was apparently 7.57km and I have burned off 1203kcal.

Breakfast: weetabix (chocolate), strawberries, banana, orange, apple, grapes and yogurt.
Lunch: macaroni cheese (with bacon), coffee cake and chocolate rice cake.
Dinner: noodles (prawns, carrots and green beans), tiramisu and cheesecake.
Drinks: fruit juice, fruit squash, fruit cordial and
Snacks: rice cake (chocolate).

Two days ago I had been on the Zwift bike and I went been on the tandem. But then before all before that I had myself a little jog on the treadmill. The ride on the Zwift bike was another one of the tour of Watopia rides but today it was the hilly course which took me a long time to do, but I had enough charge on the iPad to get the course completed which was an issue I had with it last year, but then I thought that it wasn’t until later on in the year.

Then yesterday I had been out to the local shops for reasons of “panic” buying apparently. Which is where Mich purchases twice the number of tins of beans than is necessary. Then again I noticed that this Coronavirus thingamajig has done wonders for the local industry, by that I mean the town centres which were dying in the run up to the pandemic, such a shame that it’ll never last. Also yesterday I did a little race on Zwift, it was in the Tour of Watopia stage 3. So I’ve still got two more stages to complete  I also did a little row and jog, but then again I only managed to fit in little amounts of both of the activities.

Now today I have been having a lazy morning, but I have actually put my wrist weights on for my having lazy morning. I had my breakfast and I put them on after I had my breakfast before I was set to play a bit on my Switch, as it was only on some of Link’s Awakening I don’t think that I have exercised myself enough especially as my step count for the morning was just above two hundred, before I decided to get serious and I decided to walk up the stairs a few times (my watch tells me that I had walked up fourteen flights of stairs before lunch, which was an increase of fourteen than when I had checked just after playing Link’s Awakening). I have had my lunch then I have gone for an indoor walk on the treadmill before taking the weights off (as they had got pretty sodden), so I decided to take them upstairs to the airing cupboard before I next had a ride on the Zwift bike. The ride was around NYC’s Central Park I do believe.

Monday, 16 March 2020

Day 2232

Day 2232;

Today my BMI was 20.24, I took 11,299 steps, which was apparently 7.32km and I had burned off 1212kcal.

Breakfast: weetabix (chocolate), strawberries, banana, orange and apple.
Lunch: egg, baked beans, rice cakes and something.
Dinner: stew (chicken, tomato, carrots, peas), crochet potatoes and something.
Drinks: fruit juice, fruit squash and hot chocolate.
Snacks: something and some of those chocolate coated wafers.

Today I have been on a short walk into town and I have been on another shorter walk on the treadmill. I have also been on my rowing machine and the Zwift bike, for a ride around London.

We're a ship without a storm
Cold without the warm
Light inside the darkness lit at peace
Lyrics from “The Last In Line” by Ronnie James Dio, which is a great song by one of my personal favourite music artists; at least I believe that is a correct terminology for him. Or at least he was when he was alive, but he isn’t anymore.

I’m guessing that it’s such a mystery

We are lightning, we are flame
And we burn at the touch of a spark
When there’s no fire, if no-one sees
There is only the dark
Just imagine, will you try?
I can see that you’ve opened your mind
Silver linings can disappear
But they always shine

Just some more lyrics but this time from a different one of Dio’s songs, they were from the song called mystery.

Well I plan on doing some more exercises tomorrow but I am unsure of what I am going to get done tomorrow, as I’m thinking that Mich is planning on getting out on the tandem tomorrow. If work isn’t too hectic for him that will probably be, as there’s that Coronavirus thingamajig which is doing the rounds recently hasn’t there?
